Feedback Loop

Postby screenshotartworx » Fri Mar 14, 2014 11:10 pm

hi folks,

again i have a problem with my d8b.

i have a Focusrite Saffire56 connected to my d8b via the two ADAT interfaces. as far as i understand it the d8b always needs to be the clock master. therefore i always boot the d8b first. THEN i turn on the saffire56. but then i always get a loud feedback noise on all channels that lasts for 1-2 sec. after that it goes away.

currently my workaround is, that i turn down the volume of all speakers before the noise appears. but i would like to know how i can get rid of this feedback problem.

does anybody have a clue how i can solve this problem?

cheers

I have a master clock running everything but if I turn that on before my D8b's everything goes crazy, so it's D8b first then master clock.
