Thanks For the picture. Now its clear that the d8b console
5 volt supply has no fan.

So if you need no Audio, only daw controller, my Manual
For fanless Psu should work.

Best regards

I must admit you´re a man with a database in your head - and your always there.
And you´re not only on this forum - seems you have your tentacles everywhere.
Don´t be offended - just saying.

I have built my fair share of d8b's and then some, but there are many here with more knowledge than me. I just try and help when I can.

Hi Ralph,

You’ve mentioned in your “new d8bridge approach” thread,

Yes, i only bought a d8b console without CPU/powersupply.
I build a fanless supply in the console.
Thats why you do not see the cable.

Could you possibly write a guide for this kind of power supply please? Some of us are interested in buying the probox and don’t have the rack PSU/CPU and never intend to use the audio capabilities of d8b.
So we need to add an internal PSU, fanless too, to the console like you did to yours.

There is a thread here viewtopic.php?f=6&t=652, but nothing much to learn as the guy who did it, has disappeared.

Many Thanks,

Deanoh
