Postby pilotwebley » Sat Jan 23, 2016 1:50 am

Where can I get the disks to buy or what's the best way to update my desk to 5.1
Also if I have no world clock card how will it affect my desk if I'm using it to control logic X

5.1 Download is in the database but for some reason my Norton Antivirus blocks it as being unsafe?

You will need a word card to sync up, it will run on just midi but the timing will differ throughout a project.

Hey pilotwebley;

As Phil mention you can download the 5.1 OS from this forum (see DATABASE at the top of this page, BUT, if you do not have an unlock code then you are SOL. There are no new codes being generated. Version 3.0 was the last working OS.

Regarding version 5.1.....maybe you can be the first brave soul to find out if this works or not:

I think I'll just have to search for some one who has just upgraded 5.1 power supply

Hey pilotwebley;

Sadly it is not the CPU you need to make 5.1 work. The Console's "Brain Card" holds the ESN (Electric Serial Number) and you need to have a valid 5.1 Authorization Code, which Mackie use to sell, that works with the ESN. Without this, 5.1 doesn't work.

Ebay, maybe! Mackie, no!

Where's the love!

Cheers

Mackie strikes again. Who else would complain about copyright infringement? They have an OS they can't sell, but they don't want it to be of use to anyone. jmho

just visited a friend who has the same desk, well his first power supply was faulty, so he bought another one which had the 5.1 on it and its working perfectly well.
i was only there last night. so now I'm hoping to find some one who is selling just the power supply module,
