Parts for d8b compatability

Postby Guido » Sat Mar 12, 2016 4:48 pm

Hi all,

I have an older mb d8b. Some of the led buttons are dim.
I also have a chance to buy a working d8b locally for 500 us.
Are there potential compatibility problems swapping the led switches?
I read something like this in the service manual, but I'm not a tech and unsure.
Does any of the d8b scholars have any idea about this?
Thanks,
Guido

Hi
I'm not sure regarding the usage of the same switches on all consoles but I would expect that they used only one type.

But I can imagine that it is possible to Change only the LED of the Switches.

500$ for d8b + probox, I think it's a "no brainer" ;-)

If anybody still Needs the Information

the LEDs on the butons are seperate components and do not belong to the Switch, you can replace it with Standard 3mm LEDs (not Low current ones)
