I have a D8b connected to HDR trough adat opt-8 x 3 and it works great with Apogee clock card. My problem is that I would like to hook up my computer which have Addictive drums are there a way to do that without affecting my other setup? I need 8 tracks for addictive drums, could I use the alt I/O or Digital I/O to route 8 tracks to the mixer?

I often use the Alt I/O as additional "tape returns" from my DAW. You can route/insert them to the input channels by using the insert button in the top of the channel strip. It's also possible to use the Digital I/O (SPDIF) in the same way, thus giving you 10 channels from the computer when combined.
