Digital Spikes at startup

Postby hockeyniner » Tue Oct 18, 2016 9:23 pm

Every time I start my d8b it starts an endless loop of digital spikes. They are so severe that I have to do start up with my near fields off. I shut it down, reseat the cable connecting the console to the brain, and restart. Sometimes that works, but many times I have to do this several times for it to work. Any suggestions? I am using the Apogee word clock along with 3 ADAT light pipe cards connected to a hammerfall card in my PC. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried booting the D8b before your PC?

Yes. That is my standard procedure. I think I have narrowed it to the power supply cable. I reinforced the cable relief and that seemed to fix the issue today. Not 100% sure thats it but I'll let you know. Thanks Phil for the response.
