so far...no issues. Hopefully it was just an outlier !

It's a disk controller message... I'd be concerned about the drive chain, most likely that boot disk itself especially if a) it's a hard disk drive and b) older... back everything up and install a 4GB compact flash card in the CPU - inexpensive and worth the peace of mind. If it's not the actual drive itself, you're getting into the motherboard/ide controller area things - unlikely BUT would be No Bueno... :geek:
