Eric Russ's passing

Postby Bruce Graham » Thu Apr 06, 2017 7:30 pm

Hi all;

I just got word from Terri Russ, Eric's wife, that Eric passed away on March 25. 2017.

I have no details at this point but I do know that Eric had been battling poor health for a while.

I know you all send your sympathies to Terri and the Russ family for their loss.

Our much love Mackie d8bs and hard disk recorders would not be in as good a shape without Eric.

I hope he was able to play one more round of golf! He loved it!

Regards
Bruce

Sad to hear of this... I don't think I ever had any dealings with Eric but I am sure I steered a few his way for parts a time or two. Thoughts and prayers to his family.

Sad to hear..... I got a few things from Eric and went to his house one time to get something for
My d8b and he always treated me right. I wonder if the family will keep selling things for the d8b and HDR.
I did not know his wife like Bruce did so maybe latter on Bruce can find out if the family will keep mr Russ bisness going with the mackie parts. It's a bad time to bring this up but I think a lot of people would like to know.

This is horribly bad news.

Seens like just the other day I spoke with him...

RIP. Prayers for his family.

Sad news, Russ was always very helpful to me, a good guy. Another reminder how mortal we all are. I had a friend, a drummer I played with in many bands, to pass this week. He was just 60, about my age. Life is short.

Have a blessed day in Christ,
Mike W.

Indeed. Eric will be truly missed. He was a great source of both parts and information. I spoke with him a few months ago, and he was hopeful about being on the mend.

Prayers go with you, my friend, and your family.
