d8b won't boot

Help! I was messing with installing a 2nd hard drive (which was a mistake!), and changed my BIOS settings for primary boot disc. Now the d8B won't even boot!
I've disconnected the 2nd hard drive, but now I can't even enter the BIOS settings mode to switch things back to normal.
I just get the beginning of the startup screen. It says to enter 'delete' to change BIOS settings, but nothing happens.
Holding down 'delete' when restarting does nothing.
Can anyone help?

Hmmm, that is an odd one. Are you sure the keyboard is good?

Yeah, that's what I thought. I felt it should have booted to BIOS settings, but wasn't getting the keyboard command.
I tried unplugging and plugging in the keyboard to no avail.
What I finally did was remove the CMOS battery, wait a few minutes, then put it back it. Somehow this seemed to resolve the issue, and everything is back to normal now.
I would have posted earlier, but I was curious to see what someone would suggest - and also didn't want to double-post. You and I suspected the same thing. But for some reason resetting the CMOS seemed to bring things back to normal, although I'm not exactly sure what it did in regards to the keyboard.
I'm just happy to have my d8b back. Thanks for your reply!!
