Floppy Disks

Postby Blastin » Sun Sep 24, 2017 1:00 am

What's up everybody, I'm having a problem trying to copy OS 5.1, to floppy disk, Disk One is 1,064 and Disk Two is 1,529, this is the disk that's giving me problems, the max formatted floppy is 1,44mb so how do I obtain the 85k for formatted disk?
Or is there a way to use unformatted which 2mb? I want to install a solid state hard drive 32GB, so I have to install the OS onto it. Last resort does anyone have the disks and can copy and I'll pay for disks and shipping. I think I will have the same problem with the HDR 24/96, I want to install a hard drive and install the operating system onto it. Thanks in advance.

I spent quite some time trying to find a place that could sell me some working floppies.
The only place that had them sold me a couple - that turned out to be bad when I got home

After that I bought one of those chinese floppy drive emulators that uses a regular usb stick.

Happy days after that.

Very cool Mike. Very cool!

I'm still thinking the Floppy Emulator with a USB is the way to go/

But very cool!
