DB8 Lights and Faders going Haywire When Booting

Postby Hodro » Wed Jul 06, 2022 4:32 am

Hi there,

I've been using a DB8 for many years and have a recurring problem.

Upon booting sometimes the lights and faders will spaz out and the system will not start. Interesting thin is that it only happens sometimes; however it continues to become more frequent.

Has anyone experienced this?

Any input would be much appreciated

Thanks!

It certainly appears it may be the time to do some much needed maintenance... open the console and clean & reseat the ribbon cables onto their connectors. If you search the forum here, it's a common malady wherein cleaning up the console innards will make this issue and a myriad of others 'go away'. IF you still have the same issues after this process, we'll help get order restored...
