Hold SHIFT down and rotate all the v-pots. Its just a recalibration thing. Also under Setup, you can recal the faders.

Just an update. Everything is working fine and I'm currently in the process of recording with my band using the mackie d8b hooked up to a pc with reaper via adat. Also figured out some midi stuff to help with mixing via the desk. Thanks for all your help :)
