Question about PDI-8 card I/O bussing

Postby animix » Sun Dec 23, 2012 2:53 am

Hi. My first post here. I'm merging my studio with a friend's studio. He's running a d8B there and we're trying to digitally integrate some outboard hardware. We have a PDI-8 card. It shows up in the system as pairs ALT 1-8. I want to create (or locate) aux busses that I can assign to a couple of stereo pair of these AES I/O to send/return to a Quantec Yardstick and a PCM91. I also want to patch in a Mytek Stereo96 ADC and an RME ADI2 for A/D conversion.

I thought something like this would be pretty straightforward but I don't see anything in the routing options that allows me to assign the PDI-8 I/O to input channels or aux busses. I must be blowing right by it and not seeing the obvious.

I'm also checking the database. There I/O section doesn't have anything other than the factory AES I/O.

Any advice or even constructive ridicule would be welcome.

Thanks

OK. At least I know now. I guess I just haven't found the right part of the mixer I/O routing yet.
