freezing up again

don't know if this has anything to do with my problem
I just happine to see this when I booted my d8b up today
where its showing memory mine is showing 235789k this don't look right to me
it never showed this much memory before I put another stick of ram in there.

also is there a better way to keep the ribbon cables from coming loose
beside using the silicone in the data base. like peter said I could still
have one that's loosing contact even if there tight with no play in them
