Selling my D8B's, Cards, HDR, and Remote24

Postby andy_eade » Wed Jul 10, 2013 7:33 am

My house is sold and next to go is my gear  I have the following for sale and willing to sell in whatever configuration (i.e. add cards, remove cards) is requested - let's call it a pick and mix. First come first served.

- 1 Mackie D8B running OS 5.1 in excellent cosmetic, and fully working condition. Used infrequently, very respectfully in my smoke free home studio. Always kept covered. Includes the following authorized plug ins:
    Antares Autotune
    TC FX
    Mono Delay
    Acuma Filter Machine
    Acuma Delay Factor
    Acuma DSR1 (De-esser)
    Acuma RTA31 (eq)
    Acuma Final Mix
    Acuma Saturated Fat
    Acuma Time Pak

The plug in's alone were close to $2k. I still have all of the user guides for each of them too.

- 1 Mackie D8B running OS 3.0 - also in excellent cosmetic (couple of scratches are detailed in the video below, but otherwise close to perfect), and fully working condition. This was my back-up console which was very rarely used and kept in a case most of the time.

Now for the cards. I have, and can include in whatever configuration requested (while available):

2 x Apogee Word Clock Cards
    1x Mackie Clock Card
    3 x MFX cards
    4 x UFX cards
    1 x OPT24 card
    12 x OPT8 cards
    1 x DIO8 Card
    1 x AES/EBU card

- 1 Mackie HDR2496 - also in very lightly, and respectfully used condition
- 1 Mackie Remote24 - used only a couple of times - still in the box!

- 12 M90 removable media drives

I would much rather sell in large lots - and especially if you are interested in one of the boards - you will need to consider I/O cards, FX cards and Clock Cards.

Listing here before I go to Ebay. Talking of which you can see my 100% positive feedback there:

Here also is a couple of video tours of the D8B's. Firstly the 5.1 OS:

And then the 3.0

$900 for local pick up. Really hoping not to ship the heavier items. I'm in Northern VA btw - not far from Washington Dulles Airport.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Andy.

Andy:

I was just curious....is it the angle of the camera or is the 5.1's Timecode readout not displaying (like it clearly does with the 3.1 unit)?

Hi Frank - the display works just fine on both consoles. I can take a pic if you'd like.

3 OPT 8 cards I would say $160 plus shipping.

For the word clock cards I was really hoping to sell them with the desks. I don't want to sell someone a mixer that they can't use (like 90% of the ones we see on Ebay). If someone takes one of the boards with the stock Mackie clock card, or doesn't want the Apogee card then perhaps. Does that seem fair or is it acceptable to be parting these boards out now?

1 of the MFX's is now sold btw. Local interest in taking 1 desk, the HDR and cards to connect. I will provide updates as the gear sells. Thanks and wishing everyone a great weekend.

Hi Maik,

I don't much like the idea of shipping these bigger items - especially internationally. Not just because of cost but moreso I worry about cards and cables working loose in transit. That said if you want to cover whatever the shipping costs would be and include insurance to make sure your protected I would sell including the DIO card for $1000. PM me your address if you'd like for me to get a quote on the shipping for you.

Best Regards,

Andy
