How to import / export files to SDR

Postby the boss » Fri Feb 07, 2014 7:36 pm

Hi

How can i import & export my projects to my sdr?
Is there any software to do this....?
The Alesis HD24 & Fostex D2424 has a software for this, but why can´t someone write a software for the SDR?
I have Traktion 3 and you can import your projects but you can´t export it back to the sdr recorder.

I know you can do it by record or play your channels back in to your hd system, but i want to export it like simple 24 bit sound files...

Please help!

I haven't done this but it should be fairly strait forward. If you connect the SDR via USB off the back of the unit it will read the hard drives like normal drives. I would think as long as you follow the naming scheme of the SDR for track names (Track_01 or what ever it is) then they should pop back in without problem.

Maybe explane how you've tried to do it so someone can get an idea of where you might be having your problem.

Thanks!
My English is not so good, but i`ll give it a try...:)
I´ve tried it, but the recorder returns an error: 010
In the folder where the Project is saved all the small takes are saved so it´s imposible to get it right.
Even copied the names of the original files.....
Tried to record in one pass, just for testing if it works with a simple file, and still error 010 or just error
