MDR ERROR

MDR message.....
I was recording a live performance and a "Track Write Error-Playback Engine was Stopped" came on the screen and the recorder stopped. Anyone have thoughts on what happened and how if fix it?. Luckily I had a back-up CD running!!

Hi,
If you haven't replaced the battery lately, then start with that. But more than likely a reload of the OS will fix this. Back up any projects first. If you cannot backup to external drive then remove the hard drive from your HDR, and using an ide to usb adapter, drag and drop those files onto your PC. Good luck.
