Hi everybody, spent most of the day catching up on this thread :D Have to applaud Marc and Blu Audio with what they've achieved with this project. I'm holding out for version 2 on the Mac platform. I have 2 D8Bs (both of which needing a service  8-) dreaded rail issues !!) but cant wait for V2 to be available . Personally I'd much prefer to use the D8B in this way as opposed to using an Avid artist . As cool as they are its not the same as working with something that looks like a real board. I'm hoping that future updates will find a way of switching smoothly between D8 bridge mode and D8B mode. While Marcs creation has opened and exploited completely new opportunities from a controller point of view ,like a few others here I'm hoping the audio facilities will eventually be included in the D8Bridges development Indeed a C7 at a fraction of the price , that would be just perfect 8-)

Well Marc said it was a couple weeks away about 3 weeks ago. So by BluAudio time calculations, V2.0 should be released sometime in early 2016.

Most of us are just waiting patiently.

I'm not sure about the patiently part, Rose. I'm checking on other solutions everyday. The frustration is growing.

If I understand V2 correctly, I can use it like a stock D8b with HUI-Mode, but with 24 Faders instead of 8?

I am waiting patiently too. D8B CPU won't load and run 3.0 and we all know the 5.1 issue. Mine is collecting dust until this comes out

that´s why I´m currently most of my spare time in the workshop. I´ve opened the CPU as well as the console itself to clean it up and do a little maintenance. I´ve had - actually I HAVE some sticky faders and some mute and solo buttons that don´t react right. So I try to clean things up by using alcohol and compressed air. Not sure if it helps right now, but there´s a lot of dirt coming out....
