mm I will upload a video configuring and using the d8b preamps while using the DAW, I will route the preamps to the ADAT lightpipe outputs and connect it to my interface...

you just need to make the cable! and test it works, then I could send you the program for free! , It is still in test phase and is not yet completelly finished but It should work for the basic things, I am already using it and as a MCU + 2 extenders it works well, only wish to implement more cool things listed in the "advances","features" and "todo" sections in the wiki but for now it should work jejej also, If you test it and think It works well for you, and maybe If you want to donate me some $$$ or some audio stuff I would be very happy and would be very motivated to improve the program! :)

P.S. for now it only works under Windows, for Mac I still need to install a Mac environment so I can test the code :p I don't have experience programming in Mac but It shouldn't be too hard, just need to install Mac OS on a Virtual Machine,

Great job bro! I'm not really interested to use this as a sound interface, I have my saffire pro 40 for that.. but with your method, is it possible to map some keys yourself in Studio One? If you know what I mean.. just like keyboard shortcuts, but for the D8B.

Could you explain the cable a little more I'm having trouble understand its function or how it operates....

@elperroromel,

I've been out of touch with your project for several weeks. Wondering how you're getting on?

for now the program Is not working on Mac, but maybe It can be tested on a separate "small" laptop or netbook with windows so It could act as an interface between the d8b and the Mac, so the serial ports go from the d8b to the "interface" and the Midi ports from the "interface" to the Mac. I haven't a Mac so It's hard to me to test Mac code,
