I just want to give you an amazing update on the project.

I DID IT !!!!!!
I hacked the firmware !!!

the console now operates after the firmware upload with double baud rate on the serial connection,
so 230400 baud instead of 115200. That speeds up everything by a factor of 2 !!!
I'm getting close to realtime. It is also possible to double it again to 430800 but there can be cable problems at this speed.

A Full Meter set is now done in 50ms instead of 100ms

Lets see how it goes on.
The most functions now are working. The next days I will work on the hardware, so release in 6-8 weeks is still possible !

best regards
Ralph

Yes, there are Mac USB driver available to get the
4 USB midi ports of the probox.
If logic supports the Mackie mcu Pro , then the
The probox works For your setup.

Yes, i only bought a d8b console without CPU/powersupply.
I build a fanless supply in the console.
Thats why you do not see the cable.

Hi Ralph,

I'm in .... And I also want on the waiting list.

I use Cubase 7.5 64bit

With D8Bridge in 64 bit I can only use 24 channels as a Controller.....

Will I be able to use more than 24 Channels?

Also I get Meter bridge freeze...

Best Regards

Hey Munk -

Also, i know you already said that the Probox will work with any DAW that supports MCU protocol...but, what about HUI protocol for protools users...any support for that "out of the box" or will that be a future update? I ask only because there is a fire sale damn near on protoos HD systems now...thinking about grabbing one!

Thanks
