Hi Ralph,

Real good work here. I am not sure if Reaper will work with your Pro Box and the d8b. Here is the manual from Klinke.

https://bitbucket.org/Klinkenstecker/cs ... manual.pdf

Would it be possible to look this over and see if you are compatible? Klinke made the MCU fully compatible with Reaper to my understanding.

There is more info for Klinke on the Reaper Forum.

Thank you,

RD

Hi

I rushed throu the manual and I have good and bad news for you.

The good, yes it should work (Probox is on the connection site an MCU with two XTs)
The bad one: It seems so that you will have only the MCU (8 channels) not all 24
because this tool you need supports only the MCU not the MCE

It is possible that I make a version that emulates 3 MCU instead of 1MCU and 2XTs but I don't know if this works
with the emulator you posted ?

best regards
Ralph

Hello I to run reaper and would like further implementation of the pro box with reaper. I currently run the d8b bridge from Marc but I'm ready for my system to run better. I have the 43 or 34 system error will the pro box work with the error? Thanks for any information you can share.

Hi

You run d8bridge with reaper in 24 channel?
I guess that works because the d8bridge is a 3x MCU
And Not a MCU + 2XT.

Do you have these errors 34 or 43 also with the d8bridge?

Thank you Ralph,

Since I asked for help on the Reaper forum, I am starting to get some response. Waiting for Klinke to respond.

You can follow the original thread from the beginning if you have the time.

I run Sonar X3e with D8Bridge v1.1 and have the MCU controller setup inside Sonar as 1 MCU and 2 XTs, but I remember seeing the D8Bridge MCU startup MIDI exchange (using MIDI-OX sniffer) Sonar asserting 1 MCU and 2 XTs consistent with its configuration (different Model IDs in the 3 SysEx messages (F0 00 00 66) - 10, 11 and 11) but D8Bridge ignoring that assertion from Sonar and always coming back with 3 MCU SysEx replies (10, 10, 10), one of the dozens of troubleshooting bug reports I provided to BluAudio. I never got a straight answer about whether D8Bridge was supposed to be setup as 3 MCUs or 1 MCU and 2 XTs; there are conflicts in the documentation. But it looks like D8Bridge is invariably declaring 3 MCUs based on the SysEx Model ID field.

Yes I run Reaper and d8b bridge and it's bankable 40 plus tracks! Although I must admit that it is confusing with track counts that high! The error 34 or 43 (can't remember which one it is) is some type of system error which will not let the board boot up! But The bridge bypasses all that and allows one to use it as a controller! Is that possible with pro box.
