Hi Arock2000;

This would appear to be related to the motor control IC's on the fader board. Have a look in the "DATABASE" tab above. You should find something related to this in there.

Most times it happens with faders 1 to 8, or 9 to 16 or 17 to 24 and the Stereo Master. Or some combination there-of. If it is the IC they will need to be replaced. There are instruction on how to do the work on You-tube (search for "soldering SMT" in Google or??????). Finding the chips may require help from a service tech at a reliable Electronic shop.

If could also be the "Start-up file. Sometimes a session file gets corrupted and brings with it "attributes" to the start-up file. Try deleting in then restart the d8b. It will create a new "start-up" file.

Post back with your results.

Cheers
Bruce

So delete every session file and restart the Mackie D8b?

Save the files first. Never use "Load last session at startup"

I deleted the session file and the faders are still are doing the samething... Did some troubling shooting also, so is it a way I can reset the brain board EEROM because if its run correctly only the RED LED should on and blinking but I took at look it and the red light is on and the green is flashing too. :| :| :| :|

Hello Peter.

Yeah, there are many of them here these days. I believe it's the holiday period that is putting far to much free time in the the hands of these individuals.

Anyway, he is gone now, but I'm sure he will be back soon.
