Has the boot flag for the drive(s) been thrown? If it's not set, it'll never load the MackieOS.exe (
executable) - look for something like this in your configuration tool. This example is using '
fdisk' at the command line :
That asterisk is indicating that partition 'sda1' is bootable per the flag being set, and there would be something similar for whatever tool is being used to setup the disk or cf card - regardless of the operating system being used. If nothing boots when this condition is met then, yeah, there's a somewhat of a serious issue to be addressed... that's the very 1st thing the BIOS does when loading up the POC test when the 'on' button is pressed on the front panel of the CPU host...
