thank you very much.

we just bought webspace and now we are trying to set up the homepage as fast as possible. Dont want to let the community wait any longer. We hope that we will be finished very soon. If people want to support us later, after trying the logic d8b synch, there will be always space for a donation :).

@ Red Carpet: thx, for the offer we appriciate it. Hope we can work together in the future.

Red Carpet, the egg cartons in your avatar knock me over. Cheapest way to get an anechoic room and they work like a wheel.

well i bought an old freezing cell where they store food in and we used the egg cartons to kill any reflecting sounds i think the sound quality we record could amaze you
i am not a proffesional this means i did not go to any music school but i can manage i think
we are 2 dudes that dig making music
we thought red carpet to be a cool name for our formation but yesterday found out that the name was allready taken so we need a new name.

we are setting up my new mac pro to make video clips for our songs we made almost 50 new songs in the last year
i think that we are on the right track.

Don't you just love competition! It makes the free enterprise system so entertaining.

What actually galls me about this post is aside from horning into a competitor's thread, is that the damn thing is not running on a Mac. Until this works on any modern Intel Mac...it is just bullshit.

I'm kinda with you there Frank although on the bridge forum, there is a rickety claim of Mac use. Dunno. But I agree, no need for jumping in on another's thread like that.

@Anyhorizon: Well, who's jumping who? viewtopic.php?f=2&t=175&start=500
Kamue used my thread to promote his project, this is fine with me. It's a free world isn't it?

@FrankH: My "bullshit" as you called it was part of a bigger experiment. The goal is to transform the D8B into a usable studio hub with mostly controls and maybe audio. I can run D8Bridge now, directly into the D8B's CPU. Allowing direct communication with *ANY* DAW, Mac or PC. Have a look at my newer "bullshit" if you may:

Running D8Bridge from the brain will allow to get rid of the serial cable, run your controls over ethernet (like Digidesign's controllers) and merge the control and the DSP signals on one simple connection. If you think it's still bullshit, well, I'm OK with that, but I'm receiving tons of emails and comments about how the D8B should work and I'm working towards what my clients want. If it doesn't suit you, well, too bad, too sad.

Fine, Marc. The video is hard for me to see what actually happens. Perhaps it's because I have no trouble setting up the d8b to do what I want in terms of controlling Logic or Cubase. You obviously know your stuff but I'm most reticent to give up the audio capabilities. Whatever, carry on. No harm intended. Had forgotten about the other thread.
